A Happy New Year for Howorth’s Clients

Despite the dreadful weather at the end of 2010, which made work conditions highly problematic, Howorth Air Technology finished all six projects scheduled for completion in December or early January either on time or ahead of schedule.

In addition to the weather and the usual complications which accompany the festive season, challenges overcome included project completion dates being unexpectedly brought forward, extremely tight lead times, and working around other contractors to bring projects in successfully and on time.
The projects all included theatre upgrades, and were at: Neville Hall Hospital, Abergavenny; Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport; Spire Dunedin Hospital; Spire Bristol Hospital; Spire Southampton Hospital; and The Lister Hospital, Chelsea. These are all private hospitals which fall under the remit of Keith Emery, Senior Sales Engineer.

I am extremely proud of the work done by our committed staff, who really pulled out all the stops over an extremely busy December and January. Their success comes down to attention to detail, strong project management skills and the team’s proven ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer requirements. This professionalism and flexibility never falters – even in the face of Britain’s winter weather!
