Howorth Singapore – All Systems Go…

Sunday 29th May marked the official return of Howorth Air Technology to Singapore. The launch event which took place in Singapore and was hosted along with TRAQuE Pte Ltd, was attended by more than 35 key people from the region. It was an evening of indoor golf, with prizes on offer and a well stocked bar to ensure that the action kept going well into the night. Prizes for longest drive and nearest the pin were won by Johan Naslund of GE Healthcare and Lawrence Smiddy of PM Group Asia respectively and the prize draw give-aways of an iPad2 and and iPod Nano were won by Gaurav Mehta of Alcon and Iain Littlejohn of Niamex.

With the new office in Singapore, Howorth will be able to build on their already strong reputation in the region. The additional resource will provide new capabilities locally; real time responses to technical queries, same day site visits to minimise process disruptions and the ability to carry out ergonomic evaluation of concept designs without the need to travel to a different continent. With more than 100 pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities within an hours travel, Singapore offers the perfect location.

The new office will handle the entire Howorth product portfolio, both Pharmaceutical and Medical. Regional concept design work, ergonomic modelling, installation support, commissioning, service, maintenance and training will all be catered for, an approach which for the most part will remove the requirement for personnel to travel from Europe; ultimately saving the end user time and money.
