HOWORTH SINGAPORE – PROUD TO WORK WITH JCI ACCREDITED ORGANISATIONS

Howorth Air Technology, operating in SE Asia as Howorth Singapore, is proud of its long association with hospitals that have been awarded the prestigious JCI Accreditation.  Howorth’s flagship product is its Exflow Ultra Clean Ventilation Canopy, a vital tool in the fight against Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs).  The use of the Exflow during surgery has been proven to reduce the occurrence of microorganisms within the operating theatre and more specifically at the wound site.  Howorth’s newest model, the screenless Exflow Evolution, has revolutionised the performance and appearance of ultra clean ventilation canopies, with its sleek design and even higher rates of efficiency and efficacy.

The Joint Commission International (JCI) was created in 1994, and stands alone as a consistent beacon for patient safety and quality improvement in the global community, accrediting facilities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America.  It has a presence in more than 90 countries, and works with healthcare organizations, governments and international advocates to promote rigorous standards of care and provide solutions for achieving peak performance. JCI accreditation ensures that people unfamiliar with healthcare standards of a particular country get the care that they would expect in their native countries.

Howorth has installed its world famous Exflow Ultra Clean operating theatres in 15 JCI accredited organisations in Ireland: Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny; Barrington’s Hospital Ltd, Limerick; Blackrock Clinic, Dublin; Bon Secours Hospital, Cork; Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin; Eurocare Healthcare Limited (trading as Whitfield Clinic Medical Centre), Waterford; Galway Clinic, County Galway; Hermitage Medical Clinic, Dublin; Mater Private Hospital, Dublin; Mount Carmel Hospital, Dublin; Santry Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin; St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin; St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin; UPMC Beacon Hospital, Dublin; UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre, Waterford; and in the SAAD Specialist Hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
