Howorth - A New Management Team October 2007 Howorth has recently entered a new and exciting phase of its development with the buy-in of a new management team led by Andrew Steel. Len Morris, who has been Managing Director of the Howorth business for the last 19 years, will be stepping down. The rest of the senior management will be remaining on board to join Andrew and his incoming team. Andrew Steel was previously Managing Director of Altair Filter Technology Limited, an air technology company which was sold to GE Energy in 2006. Andrew will be joined by Peter Lewis (previously Sales Director of Altair) and non-Executive Chairman, Bob Spender (previously CEO of a major international process and filtration business). Central to the success of Howorth over the years has been the company’s focus on its customers and, in moving forward, the new management team plans to build on this strength.
	A change of ownership in a key supplier can often be a cause for apprehension.
