Charnley Howorth Body Exhaust System • Virtually eliminates bacteria carrying particles* • Comfortable and cool to wear • Two design options - "helmet or necklace" The Charnley Howorth Body Exhaust System has been designed to remove bacteria-carrying particles emitted by the surgical team and works in perfect conjuction with the Exflow canopy to bring new levels of air cleanliness to operating theatres. Utilising the Charnley Howorth Body Exhaust System under an Exflow UCV, airborne bacteria is virtually eliminated down to a residual level less than 1 bacteria carrying particle per cubic metre (0.029 per cubic foot). A Charnley Howorth Body Exhaust System is available as an optional extra facility incorporated into the Exflow canopy via two triple valve pendants, onto which the surgical staff connect their individual body exhaust hoses.
	The body exhaust system presents the wearer with two options, either a helmet worn beneath an all-enveloping gown, or a lightweight necklace worn beneath a hoodless gown. In both options the wearer will benefit from the system-generated constant upward flow of fresh cool air within the gown, which reduces fatigue and makes the Howorth body exhaust system extremely comfortable to wear. *When used in conjunction with the Exflow canopy.
