Westbury Gain Safe Contractor Accreditation
4 February 2010
We are pleased to announce that we have been invited to join a leading edge scheme, designed to help industry improve its safety record. Westbury has received accreditation from SAFE contractor, part of the Connaught Group, which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors.

With its increasing membership and growing profile in the UK, the SAFE contractor scheme is now used by many large organisations as a way of obtaining competent contractors.
Under the SAFE contractor system, Westbury underwent a vetting process, which closely examined health and safety policies and procedures.
Our application was driven by the need for developing a uniform health and safety standard across the business. SAFE contractor accreditation is expected to enhance the company’s ability to attract new contracts by demonstrating its commitment to health and safety.
Howorth has also recently had their accreditation renewed.
