Department: Healthcare Reports to: Technical Compliance and Documentation Manager
We are delighted that due to our continued growth, we have a vacancy for a Technical Author role within our Healthcare team.
The successful candidates will ensure all department client documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner in keeping with the demands of our customer base (internal and external).
Working Location: Raven Locks | Full-time
Key Responsibilities
As part of your role at Howorth, your responsibilities will include:
• Provide Compliance documentation with Industry standards and coordination of all service test and validation processes.
• Excellent Customer service skills even in challenging circumstances.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Compile and execute industry standard documents and issue to customers.
• Writing, Editing and Proof-reading text to an excellent standard.
• Collate and verify information.
• Creating and editing pictures and diagrams.
• Have the ability to assess systems and advise customers of remedial actions.
• Deal proactively with day-to-day queries and requests from internal and external clients in a timely manner.
• To support other member of the team and carry out any other duties that may be required.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
• I.T literacy across multiple packages including Microsoft Office.
• High Level of Accuracy and eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to both internal and external customers – both written and verbal.
• Enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to develop within Business Administration & Customer Service.
• Understand the importance of building customer relationships and meeting / exceeding customer expectations.

• Operate with utmost integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Display high levels of professionalism at all times.
• Have good written and spoken communication abilities.
• Always be polite and courteous.
